About Total Health Osteopathy
At Total Health Osteopathy, we take a whole-body approach to helping you feel your best. Based in the historic Old Royal Naval Hospital in Plymouth, our clinic is dedicated to delivering expert osteopathic care that goes beyond symptom relief — we aim to address the root cause of your discomfort and help you prevent future issues.
We believe that truly effective treatment begins with listening. That’s why we provide individualised care, tailored to your unique needs, lifestyle, and goals. Whether you're seeking help for back pain, neck tension, sciatica, sports injuries, or chronic headaches, we’re here to support your recovery and long-term wellbeing.

Each treatment is designed with you in mind — because your health is never one-size-fits-all.
Our Founder
Originally from Devon, Megan’s background in competitive gymnastics sparked a lifelong interest in movement, recovery, and how the body heals. After benefiting from osteopathy herself, she earned a First Class Master’s degree in Osteopathic Medicine to help others feel their best. Megan was part of the very first cohort to study osteopathy at Marjon University in Plymouth, a milestone that reflects her commitment to being at the forefront of patient-centred, evidence-based care.
Megan blends evidence-based clinical knowledge with a holistic, whole-person approach. Her treatment style is always tailored to relieve pain, restore function, and support long-term wellbeing.
She has completed advanced training with the Sutherland Cranial College of Osteopathy (SCCO) and the Osteopathic Centre for Children (OCC)—two of the UK’s leading institutions in cranial and paediatric osteopathy—enabling her to safely treat patients of all ages, from newborns to older adults.
Megan places strong emphasis on the biopsychosocial model of pain, helping patients understand how factors like stress, nervous system sensitivity, and mental health influence recovery.
When not in clinic, you’ll find her exploring the Devon countryside, at the gym or continuing her education to bring the best care to her patients.
Highly Trained and Regulated Healthcare Professionals
Osteopaths in the UK are highly trained allied healthcare professionals. To qualify, every Osteopath completes a minimum four-year degree that includes extensive study of anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, neurology, and clinical practice. At Total Health Osteopathy, this level of training allows us to safely assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions.
As registered practitioners with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC), we are also trained to screen for serious health conditions (red flags) and recognise when symptoms may indicate something that requires further medical investigation. We work closely with GPs, physiotherapists, and other healthcare providers where appropriate, ensuring that every patient receives the most suitable and effective care for their individual needs.
